Aseena Allurut of the Nunavut Literacy Council displays a large collection of Inuit language materials that the council has helped produce and gather to promote reading and literacy among young people. It’s one of several such promotions on display this week at the Inuit language standardization symposium that started Feb. 7 at the Frobisher Inn in Iqaluit.
