Billie McWilliam of Kugluktuk is one of 14 students from around Nunavut who landed jobs with RCMP V Division in Iqaluit this summer. On June 17, they graduated from a one-week preparatory course and will spend the next eight weeks working with regular RCMP officers on low-risk, non-emergency situations, learning skills like note-taking, introductory law and drug awareness.
