Police seek Tulugaq Bar mugger

IQALUIT — Iqaluit RCMP are still seeking a man who they believe is responsible for mugging another man outside of Iqaluit’s Tulugaq Bar on July 19.

A man had been walking toward the medical boarding home near the high school. He was attacked by three men who then stole his money.

The suspect who committed the assault was described as an Inuk male, about 5 foot 10 inches tall, in his early 20s. The attacker was wearing a blue nylon jacket and had round, rimmed glasses.

Police say there have been several other incidents very similar to this robbery over the summer in the same area.
