Post office purse snatcher

A pregnant woman had her fanny pack snatched from her side as she stood inside the post office on Feb. 17.

Police believe two suspects were hanging around the entrance of the building shortly before 6 p.m., then entered, snatched the fanny pack and fled, running towards City Hall. Onlookers gave chase, but were unable to catch the thieves.

The pack contained personal items including cards and a small amount of cash.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the local detachment or Crime Stoppers.
