Quebec police close missing person case
Saviluk Jessica Gentes had been missing from around Sainte-Perpétue since Nov. 11

Quebec provincial police have confirmed that an Inuk woman who was missing in southern Quebec has died.
Saviluk Jessica Gentes, 22, of Nicolet, Quebec, was last seen on Wednesday, Nov. 11, around Sainte-Perpétue, a village located between Drummondville and Trois-Rivières.
The Sûreté du Québec said there is no investigation into Gentes’ death. A family member said she died by suicide on Nov. 11.
Gentes was originally from Kuujjuaq.
