Another sad ending for another individual that most likely had addiction problems, for someone whose culture is (Inuit) in this case falling into addiction problems away from home and family where they find it easier to access and it will be a long time yet before communities and leaders at any level realize this is a very real ongoing problem that needs to be addressed at all levels in every community up North, Middle school, High school, College, the North really needs to come up with a very much needed plan that would educate not only young people but all families with young children and even young adults on there own, with both Educational material and counseling available at all these levels, for young children educational material can begin with Childrens Inuktitut programming with a strong message on living a healthy life style and the importance of education about the Inuit culture and both present and past, from Daycares right through to all grade levels the higher the grade the more life learning lessons needed.
Respect should be taught. Teach your children to respect. Discipline them now. Treat others the way you wanna be treated. This guy more than likely tried to pick a fight, with the wrong people.
