Police seeking public’s help to identify suspect

The Iqaluit RCMP is investigating several incidents of break and enters in the city that resulted in almost 700 litres of liquor being stolen.

An RCMP media release said the break-ins occurred between Nov. 22 and Dec. 4 in Iqaluit. 

In an email to Nunatsiaq News, Cpl. Pauline Melanson said the break and enters occurred at businesses throughout the city. Three investigations relating to the cases are ongoing, she said.

Police released a photo of a suspect to ask for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. 

The RCMP is requesting anyone with information to call the Iqaluit detachment at 979-1111.
