RCMP seek suspect in assault at Iqaluit Quickstop store
Alleged incident occurred Dec. 13 at Nipisa Street location
Police in Iqaluit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an alleged assault at a convenience store.
The incident occurred Dec. 13 at 5:15 p.m. at the Quickstop at 159 Nipisa St., an RCMP news release issued Friday said.
Upon investigation, police learned a male suspect had allegedly assaulted an employee with a weapon.
The release did not identify what type of weapon or if the employee suffered any injuries.
Police released a photo of the suspect and asked that anyone who recognizes him contact investigators at 867-975-0123.

No one say nothin, don’t be a rat
A grown man using a weapon against an employee (and it’s usually teens/young people working there) is a violent, pathetic coward. Don’t be afraid to let the police know who it is. Thank goodness for cameras, let’s crack down on these lame thugs already.
So applying a tranlation to this double negative. Someone say something.
Why wait 3 weeks?
The person probably left town on December 14.
