RCMP seize half a kilo of pot

Police arrested four people accused of selling pot in Iqaluit last week.

RCMP officers found the over 500 grams of marijuana along with cash and “drug trafficking paraphernalia” after searching house 2461 on Thursday, Dec. 16

Stephen Crispin, 42, Richard Villeneuve, 30, Judy Naulalick, 24, and Jackie Evaloakjuk, 18, were all charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Crispin was also charged with breach of a court order, and was held in remand to appear in court this week.

The remaining three will appear in court on March 20, 2005.
