Ready for takeoff: Air Greenland plane arrives for direct flight to Nuuk
At the Iqaluit airport Wednesday afternoon, an Air Greenland plane prepares to depart for the inaugural direct flight to Nuuk, Greenland. This is a great historic moment. I have never had to opportunity to visit Frobisher Bay/Iqaluit . This has been talked about for years but never done! i am sure that this new contact will benefit both cities as Nuuk is actually closer than Toronto or Montreal and Iqaluit has things to offer Nuuk and vice versa. This is great!
