Sanikiluaq residents can expect a reduction in services at the family wellness centre due to a staff shortage.
The reduction is effective immediately and remains in effect until Nov. 12, the Department of Family Services announced Friday.
Service reductions may change based on staff availability, the department advised, and service is expected to return to full capacity on Nov. 13.
In case of emergency, residents can contact the family wellness on-call worker in Arviat at 867-857-6871 or phone the RCMP at 867-857-1111, the announcement said.
