Send boiled goose eggs to Inuit

By NUNATSIAQ NEWS

After reading “Norway: We want to destroy Canada Goose eggs” (Around the Arctic, June 6), I would like to make a suggestion.

I would like to request that the Norwegian government employ some of their local people to collect the Canada Goose eggs and boil them and export them to Nunavik, Nunavut, Greenland and other northern regions that like to consume boiled eggs.

This would create employment in Norway and stimulate trade and nothing would be wasted. Customs inspectors for food and game between northern borders should free up restrictions on such delicacies, since northern wildlife species are usually the best for human consumption.
