Program consultation in Cambridge Bay on Monday, April 29
If you are in Cambridge Bay this coming Monday and are interested in Nunavut’s parks, you are invited to attend a community consultation
The consultation meeting will be hosted by the Government of Nunavut’s parks division, which will present its Draft Nunavut Parks Program.
A news release states that “anyone who would like to learn about the program and provide input and guidance to ensure our natural and cultural heritage is protected, enjoyed and appreciated is welcome to attend.”
The community consultation will take place on Monday, April 29, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Kuugaq Café.
According to the news release, light refreshments will be available, as well as door prizes.
