Sheila Levy recognized for volunteer work

A counselor at Inuksuk High School and a tireless community volunteer received the Commissioner’s Volunteer Award on Nov. 10.

Among other causes, Levy has made suicide prevention her top priority. She has been actively involved in the Isaaksimagit Inuusirmit Katujjiqatigiit Council and the Nunavut Kamatsiaqtut Helpline.
