Students get a taste of culinary training, trades during Inukjuak trip

Students from Nuvviti School in Ivujivik sample training opportunities in areas such as driving, mechanics, construction and professional cooking during a recent trip to Inukjuak. They were there from Feb. 9 to 13 as part of their school’s the Pre-Work Training Program. The group also visited the Daniel Weetaluktuk Museum, which preserves and promotes Inuit culture and language, and were able to explore archeological and historical artifacts.
