Teen dealer sentenced to house arrest

Sabrina Lewis, 18, received a six-month conditional sentence after pleading guilty to possessing 30 grams of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

The Iqaluit teen was in Pangnirtung when the RCMP questioned her on Feb. 26.

Upon further investigation, Lewis admitted to carrying 30 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $1,200.

The first four months of her sentence will be spent under house arrest.
