I would like to thank Nunavut Tungavik Inc. and the Qikiqtani Inuit Association for paying for the airline tickets that my sister, Daisa Allurut, used to attend her biological mother’s funeral.

I would also like to thank them for allowing us to spend a few hours with her on her way to Pond Inlet.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who lost a mother and a grandmother.

My dear cousin, you will  be greatly missed; thank you for all that you have done. Losing a mother is hard, especially during Christmas and the new year but time will heal.
