Thanks for helping inmates
I would like to take this opportunity to thank a couple of organizations and communities for their kind donations on behalf of the Inuit inmates in the Kingston region.
First of all, I would like to thank the communities of Grise Fiord and Resolute Bay for the T-shirts, lapel pins, pens and mugs; Coral Harbour for their donations of pens and lapel pins; Qikiqtani Inuit Association for the travel mugs, info magnets, pens and lapel pins; and last but not least Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. for their donations of T-shirts, pens, travel mugs, lapel pins and info magnets.
These donations are given to participants of gatherings and ceremonies within the correctional institutions in the Kingston region – to volunteer drummers, jingle dress dancers, elders, corrections officers, winners of the Inuit games, and so on.
Thank you very much for assisting us in sharing our culture with the people down south. Qujannamiik Illunnasii Nunavummiutait.
