Thanks on behalf of Qaumariaq family

On behalf of my mom and my two brothers and my only sister, we would like to thank the following:

First of all, a great big thanks to “Piujukuluniagavit,” Metuq Nowdlak, for spending many nights with our mom at the elders’ home, and thanks to all the staff at the the elder’s home and Mom’s neighbours on both sides.

Thanks also to John St. James, and Diane and her spouse for the meal — it was greatly appreciated. Diane, thanks for taking Mom to and from the dinner.

Helen Maksagak, thanks for all the condolences, and thanks also to the interpreters and nurses at the Baffin Regional Hospital and Lucy Arnakak.

Last but not least, thanks to the Anglican ladies’ groups in both Apex and Iqaluit, all the people who went to visit Mom after the funeral, and all the girls who kept the sink busy doing dishes.
