The third and final game of Hockey Night in Canada’s Inuktitut-language broadcast series is set for Saturday night.
Live from sunny California, the Los Angeles Kings will host the Calgary Flames in a National Hockey League match.
Once again, commentators Robert Kabvitok, David Ningeongan and Pujjuut Kusugak will relay the action in Inuktitut when the puck drops at 7 p.m. ET.
All three are from Rankin Inlet and will work from a studio in Winnipeg.
This is the second year in a row that Sportsnet and APTN-TV are broadcasting Canada’s game to Indigenous language-speaking audiences.
Three other games will be broadcast in Plains Cree, starting March 14 when the San Jose Sharks take on the Canadiens in Montreal.
