To fight COVID-19 spread Greenland erects tent camp for homeless

If you are homeless in or around Nuuk, Greenland, you can now live in these heated weather havens, put up by the Sermersooq municipality to aid social distancing and combat the spread of COVID-19. On Friday, the first 30 homeless people moved into the camp, with tents rented from Xploration Services Greenland. As of this weekend, 11 people had tested positive for the virus in Greenland, where the government has passed an emergency measures act forbidding, among other things, gatherings of more than 10 people.
