Too much politicking, not enough fun

Wally Picco, the 14-year-old son of Health Minister Ed Picco, is the Government of Nunavut’s new “minister of fun.”

On Tuesday, the young Picco was conducting business standing atop the beige wooden desk in the office vacated by former minister Jack Anawak.

A sign on a bookshelf in the office said “In memory of the Hon. Jack Anawak” in orange highlighter.

Trenton Ng, 8, the energetic offspring of Finance Minister Kelvin Ng, is the minister of fun’s executive assistant.
