Toonik Tyme wins tourism award
Iqaluit’s Toonik Tyme won an award this year from Attractions Canada, a federally funded body that promotes Canada’s tourism-related cultural attractions.
Toonik Tyme won the “Category A” best cultural award for events with an operating budget of less than $350,000, an honour it shares with an event in Quebec City that recreates the atmosphere of the 18th century.
