Trial date set in Toonik Tyme mishap

The Iqaluit man accused of striking a child with a snowmobile during a Toonik Tyme race in April pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving on June 3.

The Crown stayed one charge of assault with a weapon against Joanasie Kilabuk, 20.

His trial is scheduled for Oct. 24.
