Weekend power outages planned for Igloolik

Igloolik residents can expect two planned power outages over the weekend.
Partial outages are planned for Saturday and Sunday, each time running from 7 a.m. 9 a.m., Qulliq Energy Corp. announced Friday.
According to a map provided by the power company, residences and businesses primarily around Main Road and Sivingayaaq will be affected.
The outages are required so power plant engine maintenance can be safely carried out.
