Why not recycle wood?

By NUNATSIAQ NEWS

I don’t know why they don’t recycle the wood that’s being thrown away.

People are always looking for wood to burn at camps beside tents for bonfires or to make things from the wood.

Even wooden furniture could be recycled to make it into different pieces of furniture. The City Council needs to think more about recycling wood and make space somewhere besides the dump so people can go in and pick up what they need.

Why do they destroy the wood in to small pieces of debris that will burn easily when it can be used again especially wooden furniture?

That means less wood and a lower risk of fire.
