Wish list for the new millenium

1) Elders who receive mere $100.00 a month to receive $1000.00 per month from NTI.

2) Social assistance recipients who are under 35 years to work at least 10 hours a month in order to receive assistance.

3) Nunavut government employees be rent free.

4) Babies born out of wedlock after January 15, 1999 to only get half of the eligible allowance.

5) Nepotism to be the word of the past in all workplaces (except privately-owned businesses).

6) Rather than following Alberta’s Education Curriculum, Nunavut to implement its own that is suitable for the north

7) Wrongdoings, whether ancient or new, to be pardoned in each individual’s lives, so forgiveess will prevail and guilt will cease, healing many lives.

8) Inuit rights to be put back in the constitutional rights. The land alone was enough to surrender.

Any person who has the authority to adopt or amend these may do so free of charge.
