A woman is charged with second-degree murder in the death of a man in Igloolik, the RCMP announced Monday.
Jacintha Tulugajuk was arrested and charged Sunday in connection with the death of Leo Tulugajuk following an investigation by Igloolik RCMP and the force’s major crime unit and forensic identification services, Nunavut RCMP said in a news release.
The release did not specify how or when Tulugajuk was killed, or whether he was related to the suspect.
Jacintha Tulugajuk’s next court appearance is scheduled for June 24.
