Workers who died on the job honoured at Iqaluit ceremony

Nunavut Employees Union president Jason Rochon lights a candle during a ceremony in Iqaluit Tuesday honouring workers who died on the job over the past year. The names of two people who died in workplace incidents — Vahid Teimourzadeh, who died in Pond Inlet, and Brandon Green died in the Northwest Territories — were added to a book of remembrance commemorating workers who died on the job. Similar ceremonies were held across Canada for the 42nd annual National Day of Mourning. (Photo by Daron Letts)
