Yet another suicide
On Sunday Dec. 9, another young Inuk man wasted his life.
I truly liked that young man. He never told me about his “mal de vivre” a sort of cancer of living. He left me very sad, and I feel very mad about this insidious trend.
We have to ask tactfully yet bluntly the questions, so that we can listen very well without judging or patronizing.
I think that when one feels nothing but hopelessness in life, one gives up on the soul’s purpose, the essence of this passage here on Earth. This ultimate irreversible action leaves brothers and sisters feeling betrayed.
Every person is important. Each human is on Earth for a reason. I think that if one messes with the path our Lord had planned, it interferes with the paths of many, many other humans.
Please think about your brothers. They should not be victims of temporarily afflicted humans.
Don’t give up. Live it up.
