An Etihad Airways flight from Abu Dhabi bound for Chicago was forced to make an unscheduled stop in Iqaluit on Tuesday morning after a passenger required urgent medical attention.
Etihad Airways Flight EY009 departed Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport, in the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, headed to Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Tuesday. However, it was diverted to Iqaluit’s airport, landing at 6:50 a.m., according to the FlightAware flight tracking app.
