Nunavut police are investigating the weekend death of a Pond Inlet man as a homicide.
Early Sunday morning, April 7, RCMP members in Pond Inlet were called to a disturbance at a home in the community, where they found the body of a 21-year-old man, Nunavut RCMP said in an April 8 release.
Police described the circumstances surrounding the young man’s death as “suspicious.”
Two suspects—an adult man and woman—have since been arrested and charged with second-degree murder of the victim.
The two accused persons are scheduled to appear in court in Iqaluit April 9.
