The Iqaluit fire department contributed a load of toys to the Angel Tree Society's annual gift drive, Dec. 14, which will be included in a batch of about 350 gifts the non-profit group will give to children of low-income households in Iqaluit. Volunteers wrapped these with a first batch 250 gifts on the 14th. They will keep collecting and wrapping presents in time for Christmas Eve. The society collects more than $9,000 in gifts and cash donations to purchase gifts every year.
