Nunavut Arctic College's outgoing president, Michael Shouldice, gets a parting gift from Nunavut's education minister, Paul Quassa, and Nunavut Premier Peter Taptuna Oct. 24 at the legislative assembly. Shouldice is retiring after a lengthy career at the college that began in the mid-1980s, when he started working as an adult educator. Shouldice quickly became vice-president of what was then known as the Keewatin campus, and served for many years as dean at the Kivalliq campus.
