The RCMP's youth academy participated in the simulation of a driving collision May 16 in front of the RCMP detachment. Two donated old vehicles were set up on the scene, and the police and fire department arrived and demonstrated how to respond to the faux-emergency as well as using the jaws of life to open up one of the cars. Some of the youth took part as actors and others watched and took notes. The youth academy graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 18 at the Inuksuk High School on May 18 at 10:30 a.m..
