The star of North of North has been cast in a Paramount Pictures movie alongside Brad Pitt and Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons.

Anna Lambe will appear in an action-adventure movie The Heart of the Beast directed by David Ayer, Integral Artists announced March 28 on its website.

Integral Artists is a talent agency, management and consultancy that includes Lambe on its roster.

The Heart of the Beast is set to follow the story of a former soldier and his combat dog who fight for survival after a plane crash strands them in Alaska.

Lambe is an Inuk actress from Nunavut, who recently took on the lead role as Siaja in the first season of the Netflix/APTN/CBC sitcom North of North, which is also set in Nunavut.

The show will be released on Netflix on April 10.

Previously, she has appeared in the Netflix drama The Grizzlies and HBO’s True Detective: Night Country.

Well, no. That isn’t true of anyone. And that is okay. That kind of unrealistic , over-the-top positivity makes people feel worse, not better. Sometimes Inuit (as well as everyone else out there) fail. And sometimes they are not having fun at all. Sometimes people struggle. It doesn’t make them weak.
It’s always nice to see a win!
