California-bound Irish flight makes emergency landing in Iqaluit

An Aer Lingus flight from Ireland to California was forced to land in Iqaluit Tuesday due to an on-board medical emergency, Department of Economic Development spokesperson Weichien Chan confirmed.       Aircraft have been having medical.diversions into Northern Canada for decades. This is a normal situation.

      why the sneaking suspicion? standard practice to divert to the closest airport with landing capacity for emergencies. If anything, this is a bit of excitement for the plane enthusiasts and the general public, though not for the person with the emergency.

      I was on the flight a senior citizen had a medical situation mid-flight possibly circulation issuer but that is complete speculation. Get a grip with the conspiracy nonsense.
