1. A popular Inuk performer released a memoir this week. Who is it?

  1. C — It was Susan Aglukark, the well-known singer, who released a book this week detailing her life story. Her memoir is titled Kihiani: A Memoir of Healing.
  2. BTungasuvvingat Inuit offers services like childcare, substance abuse treatment, housing guidance and employment training.
  3. B — Located about five kilometres outside Arctic Bay, the park is difficult to access and could be dangerous with polar bears and hunters frequenting the area.
  4. A — A small park in the Manotick area of Ottawa will be given the new name of Mary Simon Park to “recognize her outstanding contributions to Canada and celebrate her legacy as an advocate for Indigenous Peoples,” according to a motion approved by Ottawa city council.
  5. C — It’s a new multi-use cabin, which will support harvesters, Inuit guardians, Parks Canada staff, researchers and visitors.
