The first break-in happened Dec. 3 in the kitchen at the Frobisher Inn. In a news release Monday, RCMP said two suspects stole approximately $3,000 worth of alcohol.
Then on Jan. 10, RCMP responded to a break-in at The Snack, where a lone suspect entered the business after 3 a.m. The release didn’t indicate whether any property was missing or damaged.
Police obtained closed-circuit camera images of the suspects in each incident and have asked for the public’s help to identify them.
The RCMP asks anyone with information to contact investigators at 867-975-0123.
Sgt. George Henrie, the RCMP spokesperson, said investigators haven’t found evidence to connect the two break-ins.

Now they want help. They don’t help Inuit. Get the investigator to Arviat and see how the government workers are working. Especially health professionals that they don’t do professionally. Just using people of Inuit to get away with. Make excuses.
The problem you are describing may be real, but it has absolutely nothing to do with what the crime that is described in this article.
Who are the “they” and “them” you are talking about? The RCMP? You want the police to come to Arviat to investigate government workers health professionals being lazy and unprofessional, and until they do so, they should not try to solve crimes?
It sounds like you need to talk. You’re better writing an email to Nunatsiaq to ask them to print it or go on a Facebook community group page or get help making a complaint to the GN (though that will probably go nowhere).
Police don’t do my job for me, why should I do there’s? Corrupt much?!?
They rather investigate small crimes
You think lots of people breaking into places and stealing is a small crime? I’d love to see your reaction if it was your place they broke into. Nice.
Of course it’s a priority because some value was taken i
What big crimes are they not investigating?
I guess breaking into property and stealing is little crime.
Are the Inuit being treated like some sort of ‘cash cow’ by the people of Canada? Is there tension between the Inuit and other people coming up from Canada to work? This sounds like a pretty interesting story, considering what’s going on concerning Greenland, the United States and Europe right now. Plenty of people in Greenland have expressed displeasure with the way that they have been treated by Denmark over the years. I wonder if there is a similar issue in Nunavut?
You took a wrong turn somewhere..:.
