Oh wow, just awesome, I miss owning pack of Huskies with my spouse, ours died from old age, and, we couldn’t breed any huskies anymore, since my spouse is getting old, he taught me a lot of times breeding huskies, he would never name them English names, only Inuttitut names, to keep our culture strong.
I had my very own, he guarded numerous times from wolves, sometimes from Polar bears, r.i.p. my dear dog, his name is resting in Peace too, hehe.

The reverberations in the culturo-sphere from that act of naming remain felt even today, even as I type.

I lived near the beach and there were usually half a dozen teams tied up on the ice. Marvelous sound when the noon siren sets them all off.
