Six days to go before Alianait

An eight-person crew from Tom Fitzgerald Construction erects the upcoming Alianait Arts Festival’s big top tent in Iqaluit at 2 p.m. on Friday. The festival will take place from June 18-21 and feature such performers as Naja P, a 26-year-old singer-songwriter from Greenland; Beatrice Deer from Quaqtaq; Arviat’s Jacob Okatsiak; and Greenland’s Andachan.
