Noadamie Qumaluk of Puvirnituq gets ready to head out in his kayak for a last trip before too much ice puts an end to the kayaking season. Qumaluk and his classmates at Iguarsivik School have made many kayaks and, more recently, a pair of umiaks for a Quebec film now in production.
