International Inuit Day celebrated in Ottawa

Governor General pins 1st remembrance poppy

In a ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa on Oct. 20, Gov. Gen. Mary Simon spoke to veterans after receiving the first poppy for the Royal Canadian Legion’s national poppy campaign.
