Bayridge Resources Corp., holds information sessions to reassure people no exploration work has started
A Vancouver-based mineral exploration company visited Baker Lake last week to meet with residents and address questions about a proposed uranium exploration project approximately 65 kilometres southeast of the community. Bayridge Resources Corp.

Her husband George Iqalukjuak, who photographed her on the ice, said icebergs of this size are not common in the sheltered bay and can sometimes remain there for months.
