Qulliq Energy Corp. says a weekend break-in at its corporate office in Iqaluit may have exposed some customer records. The energy utility announced Monday on its Facebook page that the incident was reported to the RCMP and is under investigation.
Construction of a three-storey building in Iqaluit is underway across five lots along Iglulik Drive, Mivvik Street and Fred Coman Street. All three floors will feature commercial space, according to Qikiqtaaluk Properties Inc.’s site plan, which includes 36 parking spaces and an enclosed bike rack. Crews were working late at the site on Monday night. The location was formerly occupied by five detached units. (Photo by Daron Letts)
