The Government of Nunavut is reminding residents that the federal government’s backstop carbon tax kicked in this past July 1—but consumers will pay only 50 per cent of the ensuing fuel price increase.

Justice minister announces $1.8M for Nunavut initiatives

Running in the rain

Glencore’s Raglan mine held its annual five and 10 kilometre run July 21. The event drew more than 100 participants. For the third edition of the run, the Nunavik mine opted to fund-raise for a regional organization.
