Arnaud Maldague travels from Kugaaruk to southernmost point of Argentina without using fossil fuels
A self-described Belgian “serial explorer” who just finished skiing, kayaking, cycling and sailing his way from Nunavut to the southernmost tip of South America says he is ready for a rest. For a little while.

Titled ‘Sedna | ᓴᓐᓇ: On Thin Ice #2,’ it’s part of the ‘2024 Additions to the City of Ottawa Art Collection’ that will remain on display until Feb. 23. Takpannie, whose family originates from Apex Hill, refers to the Inuit goddess of the sea and marine animals.
