Vehicle fire doused in Apex

One fire truck and four firefighters from the Iqaluit Fire Department responded to the incident at 10:37 a.m., City of Iqaluit spokesperson Aleksey Cameron said. Kimberly Smith sworn in to Iqaluit council

Iqaluit city clerk Tammy Ernst-Doiron swears in Coun. Kimberly Smith during Tuesday’s city council meeting. Smith is the latest Iqaluit resident to take a seat on council. Council appointed her to fill a vacancy created when Sheila Flaherty stepped down in April.
